Dr. Olave-Pichon was born and raised in Cusco, Peru. She completed her medical school at the Catholic University of Santa Maria.
She worked for three years in Peru before moving to the US to obtain a Master’s in Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She completed her pediatric residency and later her fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
She also completed advanced training at Stanford University.

She has experience in primary healthcare and trained in Spain.
